Robert D. Gunderman, P.E.
Mr. Gunderman has 23+ years of engineering related work experience, and is the President of Patent Technologies, LLC, a patent firm with headquarters in the Lennox Technology Center, located adjacent to Rochester Institute of Technology. He is also the owner of GND Engineering, PLLC. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the University of Rochester's Simon School of Business, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. He is a licensed patent agent in both the U.S. and Canada, and a licensed Professional Engineer in New York State.
He was the founder of GRA, Inc., a test systems company that was sold to Eastman Kodak in 1987. He has started four companies, and been involved with several start up technology companies in the area of new product development. He serves on several boards, and holds issued patents in areas including electronic devices, medical test and treatment equipment, and software.
He has work experience in the fields of RF and radio communications, telecommunications, test and measurement systems, software and information technology, biomedical technology, microelectronics, thick film technology, aerospace and military electronics, power electronics, alternative energy, systems engineering, as well as construction and environmental engineering. He is a hands on engineer, taking great enjoyment in building and the lost art of craftsmanship and quality.
| John M. Hammond, P.E.
Mr. Hammond is a patent agent licensed to practice in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and a licensed Professional Engineer in New York State. He has more than 24 years of work experience in product conception, product development, industrial research and development, and manufacturing. He is the President of Patent Innovations LLC, a patent firm with headquarters in the Lennox Technology Center, located adjacent to Rochester Institute of Technology. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from SUNY Geneseo, and a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester.
He has previously held the positions of Process Engineer, Project Manager, and Principal Engineer at Xerox Corporation and at Optimation Technology, Inc. These positions have included responsibilities for the invention, design, build, and implementation of new processes and apparatus for manufacturing of thin film photoconductor materials and devices, high purity fluid metering and fluid filtration, and fluid flow visualization and flow image analysis. While employed at Xerox, he held the position of Industrial Fellow at the Center for Interfacial Engineering at the University of Minnesota in 1993.
He is a co-author of technical papers on thin film coating and flow visualization, and an inventor on 25 United States patents in such fields as material handling, thin film coating, fluid metering, fluid flow visualization, and consumer products.
